After debuting in the highly anticipated Air Max Day 2024 celebration, Nike’s latest flagship Air Max model, the Air Max Dn, arrives in more general release colourways to kickstart its campaign in the sneaker scene. The Nike Air Max Dn “Volt Black” drops in a contrasting ensemble inspired by an iconic Air Max colourway from the '90s.
Nike is ready to open a new chapter in its vast Air Max timeline that started in 1987. Throughout the technology’s history, the brand introduced significant Air Max innovations like the Air Max 97 full-length bubble, Tuned Air from ‘98, and contemporary upgrades like the VaporMax and Air Max 270. The Air Max Dn now takes the spotlight with its Dynamic Air system. This rendition flaunts a juxtaposition between bright volt hues and a pitch-black shade.
The upper has a lightweight mesh construction, with scaled-down TPU reinforcements encompassing most of the base. A rubber protective toe cap adds extra durability alongside the TPU mudguard. Signature Swooshes adorn the midfoot shank plate, while Dn branding envelops the rear. The midsole setup incorporates standard foam on the forefoot, while the heel features four round-shaped Air units surrounded by plush foam to provide superior cushioning and bounce. Nike’s updated waffle sole unit wraps up this next-gen Air Max shoe.
Dropping on the 26th of March 2024 for £155 via the Nike SNKRS app and select UK retailers, you can find out how to get your hands on the Nike Air Max Dn “Volt Black” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
