Nike Air Max Triax 96 Safari Camo Green

The Nike Air Max Triax 96 Safari Camo Green is the latest military-inspired colourway of the vintage runner that the Oregon-based brand has dropped. The silhouette was first launched in 1996 and was only on shelves for a short amount of time, with Nike ceasing production shortly after it started. The model received a retro release late last year and has since been released in multiple colourways to great successes.

The pair are carefully crafted from engineered ripstop canvas across the uppers for a durable and rugged look, continuing the militaristic theme initiated by the colourway. Nike branding comes in the form of the label’s signature Swoosh across each side, as well as yellow typeface branding on the tongues and embellished Swooshes on the heel counters.

The midsole takes hints from the upper and is decked out in army green, concealing the label’s signature visible Air unit alongside hidden cushioning that provides a responsive and comfortable ride.
