Supreme reunites with long-time partner Nike to rejig the classic Air Darwin under the Oregon sportswear brand’s skateboard division. This underrated ‘90s silhouette is the latest model to transition from basketball to skateboarding, following the footsteps of the Dunk and more recently, the Jordan 4. Dropping alongside three more high-heat styles, the Supreme x Nike SB Air Darwin Low “Black” lands in a discreet colour palette, a nod to one of the OG colourways.
Blacked-out canvas fabrics establish the silhouette’s low-cut upper, replacing the typical mesh and nubuck of the OG version. The signature reverse Swoosh adorns the lateral rear in a crisp white leather material to stand out atop the stealthy underlay. Meanwhile, an embroidered mini Swoosh embellishes the forefoot as an additional adornment. A Supreme tag decorates the quarter panel, complementing the red box logo on the co-branded tongue. The red sockliners feature “SUP” and “REME” on the left and right shoe. Phylon foam on the midsole provides softer cushioning, ushering in a more modern vibe than polyurethane. Rugged outsoles deliver unmatched traction on any surface, including the skate deck.
Schedule to launch on 2nd May 2024, you can find out where to get your hands on the Supreme x Nike SB Air Darwin Low “Black” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
