Following the comeback of the Nike KD 3 “All Star”, Kevin Durant’s third signature shoe appears in a new colourway following his lifetime contract signing with Nike. The Phoenix Suns superstar recently unveiled his latest KD 16 silhouette, showcasing a design inspired by the Nike Air Penny 2. This Nike KD 3 “Easy Money” pays homage to Durant’s nickname “easy money sniper” as a nod to his scoring prowess.

In basketball terminology, “cash” or “money” are often referred to when a player easily scores on the basket. Two-time NBA champion Kevin Durant is the epitome of a dominant scorer as he uses his length and speed to sink his shots. This Nike KD 3 “Easy Money” mimics dollar bills with a white premium leather base and silver fuse layers with a grey mesh quarter panel. The Nike KD 3 is the first silhouette in the line to utilise FlyWire technology, enhancing the fit and providing more lateral support. Blue Swooshes on the sides feature “100” branding, while the KD logo on the tongue appears in a bronze shade. The graphics-heavy sockliner boasts Durant on a 35-dollar bill as a nod to his jersey number. The semi-translucent outsole with a light green hue rounds out this new colourway.
