Nike React foam replaced the now-defunct Lunarlon technology, offering more bounce and shock absorption than previous Nike foam cushioning setups. D/MS/X branding on the tongue represents “Dimension Six”, one of the brand names proposed by co-founder Phil Knight before officially naming the company Nike.
