Nike transforms its favourite Y2K runner with a winterised Roam version. Similar to what the Swoosh has already done with the its Lunar series, the brand is making sure your off-road footwear options can be just as cosy. The whole upper has been rejigged, putting aside the standard breathable mesh and swapping in a ripstop nylon. Adding to the shoe’s durability is the fused mudguard and additional panelling, ensuring that the Vomero Roam is protected against any scrapes and snags. A pull tab at the rear and toggle lacing system at the front are just two other details that scream off-road. Underneath, the tread has also been given a full upgrade, with more aggressive lugs and Nike’s Regrind rubber covering you from slippery terrain. The midsole has also been raised, giving you added height that keeps you extra clearance from muddy ground and puddles.
