Canadian outdoor brand norda looked forward to pushing boundaries with the debut of the norda 001 trail-running shoe in 2021. The founders Willa and Nick Martire’s love for outdoor running resulted in the rigorous development of the silhouette, aimed to deliver maximalist, cutting-edge footwear properties while maintaining a minimalist design. The norda 001 “Encounter Pack Regolith” pays homage to regoliths found on Earth and other celestial bodies in the solar system, outfitted in neutral-toned uppers and speckled midsoles.

Inspired by extraterrestrial forms, the “Encounter Pack” arrives in two colourways dubbed “Mars” and “Regolith”. This trail-running shoe flaunts a beige Bio-Dyneema® upper, accented with grey shades on the tongue, interior, and heel. The highlight of this colourway is the bouncy Vibram SLE (Superlight EVA) midsole, enveloped in an earthy khaki green hue with white speckles to mimic the bedrock. Accompanying this high-quality model is the Vibram-approved Sole Plate inspired by the Canadian Shield rock formation with Litebase® and Megagrip® Rubber technologies to provide superior arch support and stability when exploring uneven terrains.
