Up-and-coming Canadian running shoe brand norda arrives with more styles of the brand’s flagship 001 running shoe model. It’s been nearly two years since the brand unveiled the 001, and it continues to gain more reputation. This norda 001 “White Gum” delivers a clean look to the max-cushioned trail running shoe to achieve gorpcore-ready aesthetics.

What started as a dream for the couple Will and Nick Martire became a reality when they founded norda run in 2020. The duo spent most of their lives running outdoors and wanted to create an outdoor running shoe that combines performance and sustainability. Along with head designer Louis Martin Tremblay and brand development head Gerard Cleal, norda run launched the 001 in 2021 during the pandemic. The 001 features a seamless bio-based Dyneema upper, the lightest and strongest fibre able to withstand harsh weather conditions. In partnership with Vibram, the norda 001 boasts a thick Vibram SLE foam midsole with a Vibram Litebase soleplate inspired by the Canadian Shield rock formation. Vibram Mega Grip comprises the outsole for maximum traction and superior durability anywhere you go.

This colourway flaunts a clean white Dyneema base with grey accents on the forefoot, heel, and collar graphics. The Vibram SLE (Superlight EVA) midsole comes in white, while the gum-coloured Vibram soleplate finishes off this maximalist trail running shoe with streetwear aesthetics.
