Dapper Dan x PUMA Clyde Brown

Puma teams up with Daniel Day aka “Dapper Dan” to dress up its archival classic silhouette, the Clyde. With top-tier clientele including the likes of Jay Z and Floyd Mayweather, Dapper Dan is a legend within the fashion world. Renowned for his excellent taste in style and design, PUMA imbues its Clyde with all the luxurious materials you’d expect to see at Dapper Dan’s Gucci Atelier. Dropping alongside an apparel collection, this PUMA collaboration is certainly for the most stylish of footwear aficionados.

Dapper Dan dresses up the side wall panels in an intricate pattern, echoing the various materials he’s become familiar with over the years of work in the industry. Having designed multiple dresses for prestigious events such as the Met Gala, he has taken that same mindset and applied it to the PUMA Clyde, decking out the upper with the most premium fabrics. The iconic PUMA side wall logo is crafted from a tastefully muted green, complementing the rest of the shoe’s palette. A rich brown suede forms the toe box and central portions of the shoe, with leather laces maintaining a high standard of quality on the pair. On the spine rests a gold badge, announcing the presence of the king of style and his seal of approval.
