First spotted during his SKEPTA’s MAINS runway show during the back end of summer 2023, the multi-faceted artist has dropped little to no information regarding his upcoming PUMA project. Recently announced as the Sk or Skope, this mysterious silhouette finally has a name. Are you excited for the new SKEPTA x PUMA Skope Forever "Black" edition or are you going to hold out for a different colourway? Let us know over on our socials!
Similar to the UK artist’s first Nike collaboration on the Air Max 97 , this first project with the German footwear brand arrives kitted out with iridescent detailing along the upper. The iconic Formstrip logo remains neatly hidden on the side wall, keeping branding subtle with its embroidered finish. An aggressive midsole clambers onto the upper with a familiar tire tread aesthetic, broken up by sections of metallic silver which add even more of a reflective element to the pair. A simple set of black rope laces are threaded throughout, taming what would otherwise become an overwhelming set of details. These arrive in a shiny silver open-lid box, with a yellow and orange rope lace option allowing you to customise your pair.
Borrowing from a slew of hidden gems from PUMA's archives, stringing together details from the PG Mesh, the King Centaur, the Mostro and Future Cat M2, silhouettes that would have likely flown under the radar for most sneakerheads. Proving once again the MC's taste level, we will just have to see what the fans think once these hit the shelves.
