After including the Salomon XT-6 throughout her Spring Summer 2023 Runway Show at New York Fashion Week, Sandy Liang has now landed her own collaboration with the alpine-based brand. Having been introduced to the brand via a pair of all-black RX Moc 3.0 that she purchased online, Liang was desperate to include the silhouette within the capsule, wanting more people to fall in love with the sneaker-styled Moc.
The RX Moc 3.0 arrives in a binary colour scheme, with its white mesh bookended by hits of black on the toe and heel. Similar to the XT-6 Expanse, an anime flower motif has been printed onto the insole, as well as an extra three miniature ones lined up on the front pull tab. The Salomon LAB logo is slanted on the forefoot, with Liang opting for a semi-translucent black version to replace the usual primary colours.
While the XT-6 Expanse will most likely grab hold of people’s attention, the RX Moc 3.0 offers a beautifully simple alternative. Perfect for knocking about the city or slipping on post-hike, this Sandy Liang RX Moc 3.0 is a great addition to anyone’s rotation. Tune into The Sole Supplier for more information regarding this and any future Salomon collaborations!
