The CLOT founder looked at the vast adidas football archive and completely ripped up the rulebook. The result? The adidas Originals and CLOT Mundial Collection.
The standard terrace shoe formula feels exhausted right now. That’s why it’s refreshing to see the CLOT Samba take the Samba Millennium upper, add a tactile suede toe cap, and sit the whole construction on a woven raffia sole unit.

Then we get the absolute standout piece: the CLOT Mundial. Premium textured leather raffia Three Stripes and a totally unexpected espadrille bottom. Turning a football boot into a woven summer loafer is a massive risk, but looking at the official photos, it seems like the gamble paid off.
Instead of standard studio photography, CLOT enlisted illustrator Annie Choi to build a new world. Choi transformed FC Barcelona attacker Raphinha and Liverpool winger Luis Díaz into characters within a vibrant anime universe.
The campaign even weaves in the official adidas Trionda World Cup match ball, grounding the whole story in proper tournament energy while keeping the aesthetic completely fresh.
The apparel holds its own entirely. The 11 piece lineup features Teamgeist inspired knit jerseys. These garments take the defining, curving lines of mid 2000s tournament kits and recreate those shapes using intricate knit fabrications. Throw in the Heritage Print Short and a relaxed Baja Hoodie, and you have an entire wardrobe sorted for the warmer months. It is pitch heritage made strictly for the pavement.
