After giving us a preview of what's to come in Autumn, Palace skateboards is now readying its next collaborative efforts. This time around, the London streetwear imprint looks to classic skate brand Aesthetics for a new collection dubbed "Palaesthetics."
For those unaware of Aesthetics, it was a skate brand that rose to prominence during the early 2000s, partially thanks to its legendary video Ryde or Die Vol. 1. In 2001, Palace founders Lev Tanju and Gareth Skewis watched the video and it later inspired the duo to create Palace.
This latest collaboration looks to celebrate the signature style of Aesthetics through a range of relaxed silhouettes. Included, we see a football jersey, hoodies, T-Shirts, jeans, sweats, beanies, caps, and of course, skate decks. Each piece arrives with a distinctly late '90s / early '00s construction, meaning a baggy sportswear-styled form is a running motif throughout.
For those looking to get their hands on this limited edition Aesthetics x Place Skateboards "Palaesthetics" collaboration, it will be available from Friday the 26th of August both in-store and online. In other fashion news, thisisneverthat x Pokémon come together for a celebration of the show's OG generation.
