All The New Balance 550s You Need To Add To Your Must-Cop List

As if we've not been treated enough by the Boston-based brand, it's now rumoured that several - and we mean several - iterations are being added to their release roster ready for summer 2022. We already know of some collaborations that are on the horizon; it feels like an age since we caught a first glimpse at the CORDURA New Balance 550 x size? pack! Since then, however, we've learnt of another upcoming Aimé Leon Dore collaboration, as well as Comme des Garçons Homme getting in on the 550 action, but this really is just the beginning.

As well as these collaborations, images have been released showing off a plethora of colourways set to drop this summer. Some of them we are already aware of: the "Pink" iteration recently dropped along with the "Café Au Lait" colourway, and we've explored the "Beige", "Cream/Black", and "Purple" editions, too. However, there are definitely some more stand-out colours to take a look at.

Although the images are only small, we have got our eyes on the new black-and-white iteration, as this time, black suede appears to cover the toe cap instead of a grey colouring. We're also fans of the two grey iterations in the top row. Unlike the last NB550 "Triple White" colourway, the one pair seem to have suede across the toe box and heel, whilst the other's upper is completely covered with suede and finished up with a cream outsole.

If colour is more your style, then why not keep your eyes peeled for the various blue offerings on the horizon. A stand-out colour scheme for us is the cream upper dressed with grey-blue accents in the bottom-left corner.

Not much else is known so far, but we can expect the "Grey" and "Black/Cream" iterations below to drop within the next month, along with the two cream ones mentioned previously. Again, these are only rumours, but we're definitely hoping there's some truth in them as we've now got our heart set on some of these!

Finishing up, two more colourful 550s have been floating around the internet, although nothing much is known about them and their authenticity. One appears to be Lakers-inspired, whilst the other takes on a colourful palette, including yellow, pink, purple and teal accents.
