When we got our first look at the Yeezy 700 V3 back in September, we knew straight away that it was going to be a must cop. The brainchild of adidas Vice President and Creative Director Mark Miner, who previously worked at Nike until 2014, it completely reworks the chunky silhouette, looking nothing like its predecessors expect for the chunky midsole that is present down below. With that said, rumour has it that Kanye West could be dropping Boost for another cushioning technology for this release, and here's what we know so far!
Featuring a rib cage inspired look, this is painted in a clean white palette, but once the lights are turned off, it actually glows in the dark as showcased here. Mesh and foam make up the upper, while a stark black lacing system and tongue provide a contrast that's sure to turn heads wherever you go. As you move downwards, here's where things get a little mysterious.
According to sneaker insider @kickwhoshow, the 700 v3 will be replacing Boost with a new material. Looking at the bottom of the shoe, you'll see that a bold blue hue peeks through the outsole, rather than Boost that's been making rounds on fake pairs. While this has yet to be officially confirmed, it's safe to assume that it'll be adiPRENE, considering how popular that's proving this year. To add to this, Ye already uses adiPRENE on the Yeezy 500, so this wouldn't be too out of the ordinary.
Whether it's a yet-to-be-announced cushioning tech remains to be seen, but one thing that's for sure is that the Yeezy 700 V3 will be dropping sometime next year. Let us know what you think of this, and make sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for the hottest sneaker news and releases!
