Nike and the Tekken fighting game franchise are set to come together yet again for another edition of the Tekken 8 Foamposite One this October. Following the initial (and rather surprising) release that honoured Kazuya Mishima, this new design pays tribute to his son, Jin Kazama.
Kazama, an antihero in his own right, is represented by a pair featuring a striking “Photon Dust” and “Metallic Dark Grey” shell, reminiscent of cement. The sneaker features a black leather construct and mesh wrap around the tongue and eyelets. The overall monochrome palette is interrupted by a splash of vibrant red lining.
The shoes also showcase red Tekken 8 branding on the tongue and graphics that read “Fist” and “Fate” across the outsoles, that symbolises Jin's personality. Similar to the "Kazuya" colourway, this design features plenty of nods to Tekken 8 without being overwhelming, making it appealing to both, avid Tekken fans and Foamposite collectors alike.
The good news is that unlike the “Kazuya” colourway, which was exclusively launched at EVO 2024 in Las Vegas, the “Jin Kazama” edition will be available more widely on October 8th, priced at £200.
