As of late, the Swoosh team has been putting in more work towards the sports community—the recent release of basketball-themed Nike Dunks, Blazers and Air Force 1s for NBA's 75th anniversary proves so. On that note, the sportswear giant is expanding its roster yet again with two Nike Air Force 1 "Athletic Club" colourways that references community gymnasiums from the 1970s all the way to the '80s.
The two-shoe pack features two contrasting colours, with both renditions sporting premium panels throughout and new Nike branding imprints. The outset is the Nike Air Force 1 "Athletic Club" Grey, a pair furnished in suede tooling atop a nylon base, with "Light Smoke Grey" overlays giving a perfect contrast against the much-darker grey shade, almost like silver. The dual-stacked Swooshes across the sides appears to follow suit, as well as the retro-inspired striped shoelaces, Nike Athletic Club branding on the tongues and heels.
The "Sail/Khaki" counterpart also borrows the same top-grade materials, except with orange accents giving a pop of contrast upon tan overlays and an off-white stage. These Air Force 1 Lows are finalised with an "AIR FORCE 1" text debossed below the collars on the lateral side and a classic Air midsole unit underfoot.
