The most iconic sneaker of all time, the Air Force 1 has a heritage dating back to 1982 and remains one of the oldest trainers still in production. Beginning its life on the court, the AF1 was the first basketball shoe to feature Nike Air technology. However, the sneaker did not enjoy success when it was first released and was took off the market after only one year.
Fortunately, after a re-release in 1986, the Air Force 1 became the icon we know and love today. Throughout this time, the AF1 has been released in a number of colourways and variations and has been used in collaborations with some of the most iconic brands in streetwear and fashion.

Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 'Cactus Jack' (2019)
Travis Scott has been running the sneaker game for the past few years so it's only fair that he has at least one addition to this list. Following up his first AF1 collaboration in 2017, Travis worked with Nike on the silhouette again in 2019 to release the Air Force 1 "Cactus Jack".
This makes the list due to the iconic design and use of materials. Changing things up, the "Cactus Jack" is made from a range of premium materials such as suede, corduroy, canvas and leather. It also features an eye-catching mismatched print in complimentary tonal hues. The result is one of the most iconic Air Force 1 colourways of all time!
Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 (2021)
This sneaker truly changed the game. During Louis Vuitton's Spring-Summer 22 Fashion Show, the French fashion house caught attention not just because of their eye-catching clothing, but also because of their choice of footwear. For this show, creative director Virgil Abloh displayed AF1s in the luxurious LV house style. Although we haven't got a release date for this collab yet, we know they are going to be a hit!
Playstation x Nike Air Force 1 (2006)
The rarest sneaker on this list, there were only 150 of the original Playstation x Nike Air Force 1s made. Released in partnership with Sony, these pairs were handed out to friends and family of Sony employees to commemorate the release of the Playstation 3 in 2006. The design mirrors the console, with a sleek black patent leather upper and featuring the iconic 'PS' logo embroidered on the heel.
If you're looking to pickup a pair of these trainers, be prepared to pay the heavy resale of a couple thousand depending on size.
Stussy x Nike Air Force 1 "Fossil Stone" (2020)
Another legend of streetwear, Nike and Stussy have a history of dropping some of the most sought after releases in streetwear and sneaker history. For this 2020 release, the two again exceeded expectations and released one of the best releases of the year.

Comme des Garcons x Nike Air Force 1 Mid White (2020)
First unveiled during Paris Fashion Week, the Comme des Garcons x Nike Air Force 1 Mid White offers an avant-garde take on this streetwear essential. Despite the radical upper, the comfort and durability of the sneaker is not lost thanks to the Nike Air midsole.
G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 "Para-Noise" (2020)
G-Dragon is a K-Pop icon and has released a couple of sneakers in partnership with Nike, our favourite is the 2020 release of the Nike Air Force 1 "Para-Noise". Releasing a year after the pairs first collaborative effort, the 2020 release dropped in a painted white colourway. This is a shoe you really need to wear to release it's true beauty, as beneath the plain white upper hides an artwork by G-Dragon.

Another addition to the ever expansive Nike x Off-White collaboration, this time Abloh works with the Swoosh brand on yet another AF1.

Carhartt x Nike Air Force 1 "Ale Brown" (2018)
Workwear and streetwear have often crossed paths, but the Carhartt x Nike collaborations are always our favourite. The Carhartt Air Force 1 "Ale Brown" is the embodiment of the pairs collaborative effort. Taking two of the most iconic design cues from both companies, the result is the perfect autumnal trainer. Nike's classic AF1 silhouette is reworked with Carhartt's signature duck canvas to create a durable, hard-wearing take on this classic trainer.
Nike Air Force 1 "Rocafella" (2006)
Sometimes all it takes to create a compelling colourway is to tell a story, and that's exactly the case with the Air Force 1 "Rocafella". Keeping things true to his own memories of wearing AF1s, Roc-A-Fella's founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke chose to skip any extravagant designs. Instead, he chose to add only what was important to him, the logo of his record label on the heel of the shoe.
Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air Force 1 "White Light Bone" (2020)
Cactus Plant Flea Market is one of the hottest brands out there. Worn by the likes of Kanye West, Travis Scott and many more, it's no wonder they got a chance to work with Nike. The CPFM x Nike AF1 "White Light Bone" takes the classic all-white colourway we know and love steps it up a notch. CPFM puts their own twist on by featuring the word 'SUNSHINE' stitched across the upper.
Nike Lunar Force 1 Acronym 17 (2017)
Released as part of the Air Force 1s 35th anniversary, Errolson Hugh's contemporary techwear take on the Nike classic is a fan favourite. The full-length zipper is the main detail which draws the eye on this forward-thinking silhouette, but make sure to look closer at the little details which truly make this sneaker so unique.
KITH x Nike Air Force 1 "Hawaii" (2021)
Last but certainly not least, we couldn't have a complete list without mentioning one of the many KITH collaborations on the AF1. The KITH Air Force 1 "Hawaii" is our top pick due to the subtle detailing and vibrant pops of blue which feature throughout.
