It looks like Nike is taking on adidas' Futurecraft 4D tech with their own 3D printed sneaker. Dubbed the Zoom VaporFly Elite Flyprint 3D, not only does it have the longest name in the world, it's also painted in one of the most eye-catching hues ever.
Doused in a purple iridescent scheme accented by an enlarged Swoosh and Flyprint branding, this running shoe was made with feedback from Eliud Kipchoge, who narrowly missed the sub-two-hour marathon record. Featuring a 3D-printed upper that allows moisture to leave the shoe through evaporation, this also allows for a reduction in weight, resulting in a shoe that weighs a mere eleven grams.
Nothing else is known about the Nike Zoom VaporFly Elite Flyprint 3D, so be sure to keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more news as it develops! In related news, prep for marathon season with these ten sneakers!
