It’s been a few weeks since Noah Lyles was spotted in an upcoming Bad Bunny x adidas collaboration. As the mid December launch date approaches, we’re finally getting a clearer look at the collection, courtesy of @arab_lincoln. The Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL 72 is set to drop in three unique colourways, blending the retro charm of the SL 72 with the performance driven design of the Adizero series.
This latest collaboration marks another exciting chapter in the hugely successful Bad Bunny x adidas partnership. The hybrid sneaker merges two distinct adidas designs, with the SL 72 forming the upper and the Adizero Neftenga, or a similar model, comprising the lower portion. These will be dropping three colourways: Off White/Chalk White/Wonder White, Maroon/Chalk White/Semi Solar Red and Blue/Core White/Shock Yellow.
The construction of these hybrids is eye catching. The raw edged mesh from the Adizero transitions into the SL 72’s nylon upper, making the shoes look as though two separate models were stitched together.
We feel that this juxtaposition of retro and contemporary elements will surely make you stand out in the crowd if you rock these.
Set to debut on 15th December (subject to final confirmation from Bad Bunny or adidas), the Bad Bunny x adidas Adizero SL 72 collection encapsulates a blend of eras, showcasing the evolution of adidas running sneakers.
These are expected to go for around £140. Hit the 'Notify me' button above if you want a heads up when they drop!
