We recently got an exclusive invite from adidas to head over to its Oxford Road flagship and check out the latest Hyperboost Euphoria. Having reviewed the first Hyperboost Edge earlier this year in a sunnier Los Angeles, spirits were still high as we went to find out what the Euphoria was all about under an overcast London sky.
The £110 price tag is worth bearing in mind, meaning the new Hyperboost Euphoria is £60 cheaper than the Edge. Of course, the cuts come with a cost, sacrificing a number of performance features which earnt the Edge its functional kudos. This makes sense considering the shoe is adidas’ lifestyle offering to the Hyperboost series, indicated here by the retro Trefoil on the tongue.
For those that haven’t encountered Hyperboost foam, it’s adidas’ latest update to its prior Boost technology. Boost has had quite the journey since its introduction back in 2013, riding the highs of the 2015-2017 era, the Yeezy Boost years, to where it sits today, with series like the Hyperboost Pro seeking to redefine the narrative.
Having said that, you would be forgiven in thinking the function was still all there, with the Euphoria’s techy looking upper doing enough to fool even the most footwear savvy.
Gone is the Primeweave upper, with weight no longer such a consideration, the Euphoria introduces a combination of fused panelling and a TPU latticed structure which we’ve seen on recent silhouettes like the Megaride S2. In a similar vein to adidas’ Dillinger Web, as well former Climacool models, the sidewall here provides great air flow and support.
Similar to the Edge, the Hyperboost Euphoria falls into the maximalist footwear category, with its large Hyperboost midsole giving you plenty of added height. Wearing these as a casual shoe, it’s a great alternative for the off-duty runner who wants the familiarity of their favourite max easy-run shoe without the price tag.
Not to mention that the Hyperboost Euphoria just looks super clean on foot, just look at the photos we managed to grab and try to tell us otherwise. You can bet that we’ll be pairing these with a comfy jogger or our favourite jorts this summer. Although, we reckon these might be too runner-esque to fit into the smart-casual category, we'll be giving it a try real soon and let you know what our verdict is.
The adidas Hyperboost Euphoria is set to release on the 23rd of July 2026 in three different colourways via adidas.co.uk. You can keep up to date with all the latest on the Hyperboost series by tuning into The Sole Supplier.
