The Swoosh brand's Air Force 1 has proven to be a timeless piece in our wardrobe after maintaining its strong presence on the court and streets since the '80s. With countless variants already available on the market, the ever-growing series shows no sign of stopping as Germany-based retailer Asphaltgold is now offering two mid-top variants ahead of the model's 40th anniversary.
While most Nike Air Force 1 Mids come equipped with a forefoot ankle strap, the Asphaltgold x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Sculpt does not but features a much higher collar as an alternative that still provides maximum heel and ankle support. And needless to say, it looks similar to the Nike Dunk High.
The construction sees a premium grain leather base in white and the cutout sidewall Swooshes and interior lining in their titular hue: one in "Grey/Metallic Silver" and the other in "Red", with a durable rubber treading underfoot in the same colour to match. The AF1's classic thick Air midsole unit then exhibit a yellowish tint to emphasise the court classic's timeless appeal even 40 years later.
The Asphaltgold x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Sculpt is releasing via a raffle draw on Ashpaltgold on the 19th of November. Be sure to keep updated with the latest Nike drops here at The Sole Supplier as we'll be the first to notify you. In similar news, the Nike Air Force 1 Low "NAI-KE" is a nod to a famous 1980s collection.
