We’ve seen some pretty incredible AF1 releases as of late, and it seems like the Swoosh brand isn't taking the spotlight off the legendary silhouette just yet, as we’ve just been given a first look at the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Low “NAI-KE”. First hitting the market back in 1982 and designed by Bruce Kilgore, the AF1 is an absolute cult classic sneaker that’s loved by sneakerheads across the globe, with thousands of collaborations releasing over the years.
This brand-new release isn’t a collaborative version, however instead it opts to pay homage to a piece of Nike history. Back in the 1980s, the brand commissioned one of it’s China-based factories to produce a collection of prototype running sneakers titled the “One Line” collection. The Swoosh is now immortalising the said collection in the form of this upcoming AF1!
Decked out in neutral hues that consist of shades of white and natural ivory, the pair are crafted from a mix of supple suede and leather and showcase classic Nike panelling. The Swoosh logo resides on both the lateral and medial sides, while “NAI-KE” embroidery is featured on the heels in Chinese characters, another nod to the original factories. A whited-out midsole unit completes the look, encasing a full-length Nike Air midsole.
If you’re keen on this super-clean Air Force 1, you’ll be keen to hear that the pair have been assigned a China release date for November the 9th, however the rest of the world is still awaiting a confirmed date. Make sure to keep it locked in right here at The Sole Supplier for all the latest updates as they happen, and while you’re here check out how the Nike ACG Air Mowabb is returning in triple black form!
