If there’s one place you can flex your grail pairs all year round, it’s sunny Los Angeles. The vast city isn’t just renowned for its unbeatable weather and blockbuster movies, but LA is also home to some of the world’s most iconic sneaker and streetwear brands. From The Hundreds and Diamond Supply co. to KITH and Round Two, Los Angeles is the place to go if you’re looking to pick up the hottest drops, whilst catching a few rays.
The size of the city means that the best sneaker and streetwear stores in Los Angeles are spread out, from Downtown LA to West Hollywood where you’ll find the likes of KITH and rumours of a second Supreme shop to open up this year. We checked out a few of the top spots to visit if you’re looking to cop some heat whilst you’re in the city.
If you’re looking to refresh not just your rotation but your whole ‘fit then KITH is the place to go for the latest sneaker and streetwear drops. KITH Sunset Boulevard features not just some of the best new-season lines, but the brand’s own collection. Sneakers take centre stage in the middle of the store, surrounded by clothing around the outside, neatly hung above the exposed concrete flooring for a minimal look. After a day of shopping, you can re-energise with KITH Treats at the entrance of the store for a little sweet treat. The store is situated in a car park a little out the way of main view, adding to the unique experience.
Head on over to Sneakersnstuff in Santa Monica for some beachside shopping, with the luxury of sea views and a buzzing atmosphere. SNS LA offers the latest sneaker drops, including GR’s and high-heat with a selection of our fave streetwear brands, including Carhartt, SNS, adidas originals, NikeLab and more. The impressive decor features a seaside theme with sick graphics situated around the store. The bright teal shop front means you won’t be able to miss it strolling down Santa Monica beach.
Feeling lucky? Try out the grab machine at Hall of Fame on Fairfax Avenue, featuring some of the top sneaker grails that you can chance your luck at winning. The store also offers a huge selection of American sportswear including caps, baseball and basketball jerseys, ready to pair with the high-heat pairs up for grabs at the front of the store. The split level design gives the store a loft aesthetic, complete iconic imagery of the sporting greats.
Head on down the road and you’ll come across APT.4B, a quirky little store that’s set up to replicate a living room, with a sofa, tv, and of course, apparel. The brand was initially launched as a pop-up shop back in 2013, and today is a brand and concept store inspired by street culture. The store's window is updated regularly in line with the brand’s latest releases. Here you’ll find streetwear picks and the store isn't just about the garments, but an experience that tells a story.
