After the Three Stripes brand revived their iconic basketball shoes from the list of 1984 archived silhouettes, the adidas Forum has become more recognised than it has ever been before. In only a few months, the low-top basketball shoe has garnered a significant level of hype for its vintage aesthetic and also acting as a blank canvas for the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum collaborations. Like with most popular footwear models, it's bound to receive a few colourways and revamps, and this latest experiment is one that you must certainly gear up for as it appears that A Bathing Ape's founder Tomoaki Nagao, better known as Nigo, has let his imagination flow freely on the Human Made x adidas Forum.
A sneaker addict would notice that this adidas Forum Low maintains all its original features across the upper, notably speaking of the adjustable strap forefoot, though a closer look at the official images show that the entire base sits atop a Boost midsole that we all know and love, meaning that cushioning and comfort is optimised to the max on this pair.
The layers are done up in premium leather textiles throughout tinted in grey, contrasted with vibrant red accents on the suede-crafted Three Stripe sidewall marking, Human Made's playful heart motif printed on the lateral ankle, and other key components such as the sock liner. The legendary adidas trainers are complete with additional co-branding details such as the Trefoil logo on the tongue and the renowned Japanese label’s motto "Gears for Futuristic Teenagers" printed on the heel stabilizers
