Following the news earlier this week of the second Louis Vuitton x NBA capsule, it seems the French luxury fashion house is showing no signs of slowing down as they're now revealing a brand new multi-year partnership with the Monaco Grand Prix.
Returning this year after being cancelled due to the pandemic in 2020, the Monaco Grand Prix is one of the most glamorous and influential events in Formula 1 and motorsport, so there's not a lot more fitting than Louis Vuitton creating a bespoke trophy case for the event winner.
Built-in LV's famed Asnières studio near Paris, this trophy trunk is built to epitomise "victory travels in Louis Vuitton" according to Michael Burke, the Chairman and Chief Officer of the brand.
The trunk itself is adorned in Louis Vuitton's signature monogram print in a red hue accompanied by Monaco's flag colours in the shape of a "V". Featured inside is the grandest prize of all, the Monaco Grand Prix trophy which outlines the 19 twists and turns of the track.
Having previously made trophy cases for the FIFA World Cup, the Rugby World Cup and even a League of Legends' Championship, it seems like Louis Vuitton are going to continue to branch out for some time to come. In related news, the Fear of God ESSENTIALS Spring 2021 collection is dropping this week!
