The Nike Air Max 90 Tinker Hatfield created in 1990 has remained present in the sneaker scene up until this day. Numerous colourways have adorned the AM90 and even graced it with a series of seasonal and thematic constructions. As for its latest outfit, the Nike Air Max 90 G NRG "Picnic" has just appeared on the green, celebrating Nike's 50th annual family event.
Official images show this pair geared up for a game of 18 holes, with a course-ready rubber treading underfoot. Elsewhere, the panels from heel to toe feature a picnic-friendly design. Red and white accents appear in criss-cross throughout the upper to resemble what a traditional picnic blanket would look like.
The straw-like mesh underlays indulge in a tan/yellow colour, reminiscent of picnic baskets. From another perspective, the mix of red and yellowy hues also nod to ketchup and mustard. Finally, the remaining components that come with branding are given a white gradient, balancing the colour scheme while also nodding to the clean colour of golf balls.
