The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 ‘Dark Team Red’ is Set for Spring 2025

After sharing the news of the berrylicious Vivid Purple last month, Nike's back with another juicy drop: the Zoom Vomero 5 in Dark Team Red. Dropping next Spring, if the photos are anything to go by, our sneaker game is about to become berry exciting.

2024 has been a banner year for Nike's Zoom Vomero 5, and it's showing no signs of slowing down. The upcoming 'Dark Team Red' version doesn't feature any glow in the dark overlays or shiny Swooshes. Like the Vivid Purple model, this one features a unique colour combination, offering a refreshing departure from the traditional black and white hues typically associated with this silhouette.

With a black mesh base, the 'Dark Team Red' Zoom Vomero 5 freshens things up by replacing the typical leather uppers with soft suede panels, giving it a more laid back and wearable look. A rubberised cage adds side support, while the signature geometric heel counter maintains stability.

The midsole sports a subtly vintage, pre yellowed tone, crafted from Cushlon foam that’s typically saved for Nike’s premium running shoes. On top of that, there's a maroon outsole for solid grip, with the portrait of Nike co founder Bill Bowerman on the insole.

Apart from the 'Dark Team Red,' Nike's gearing up to drop more Zoom Vomero models next year, especially the new Zoom Vomero Roam series. With eye catching colours like 'Black Rose' and 'Mink Brown,' Nike's definitely looking to keep this silhouette on everyone's radar (and shopping bags!)
