In a move that most wouldn't have predicted, Brooklyn-based graffiti artist Stash and Nike are set to join forces once again. To remember the duo's last AM95 collaboration, you might be considered somewhat of an old head in the sneaker scene, but that's not to say you can't be excited about the prospect of this upcoming re-release.
For those unfamiliar with Stash, he's a graffiti artist out of New York who started painting subway trains during the late 1980s. After exhibiting at age 17 alongside the likes of Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, Stash went on to become a successful gallery artist, eventually leading to his first link-up with Nike in 2006.
As part of the "Artist Series," Stash spun his own take on the coveted Air Max 95 silhouette, with the shoe still selling for a hefty portion on the resale market today. This latest rendition is rumoured to sport the same original design language as its predecessor, with black, grey and navy hues working together in unison atop the upper.
With that said, there's also a solid chance the duo could decide to completely renew and refresh the silhouette, but given it is expected to land in the holiday season of 2024, we'll have to wait a while longer before acquiring more concrete details.
