Japanese apparel giant UNIQLO has unveiled an exciting new UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) collaboration featuring Nickelodeon’s beloved SpongeBob SquarePants and the renowned design brand Cactus Plant Flea Market (CPFM).
Who lives in a pineapple under the sea and now rocks CPFM’s signature “double vision” motif? SpongeBob, that’s who!
This epic collab reimagines your favourite underwater crew on t-shirts, hoodies, caps, and even collectable plush toys.
Cynthia Lu's CPFM has made waves in the streetwear world with high profile collaborations, including partnerships with Nike, Public Enemy, and Denim Tears. Known for quirky, four eyed characters and trippy designs, CPFM brings its weirdly wonderful reimagination of SpongeBob and the gang, turning them into hand drawn masterpieces with a sprinkle of psychadelia.
Created by Stephen Hillenburg in 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants has become a cultural icon loved by fans of all ages. Now, the series is being recontextualised through the creative lens of CPFM. This limited edition collaboration celebrates 25 years of classic SpongeBob moments while transforming them into wearable art that’s both nostalgic and cutting edge.
Think Krabby Patties, iconic quotes, and your favourite characters SpongeBob, Patrick and more, remodelled with CPFM’s humour and sketchy graphics. The apparel lineup includes t-shirts, hoodies, and a cap, complemented by a selection of collectable plush toys.
The UNIQLO UT x SpongeBob x Cactus Plant Flea Market collection drops 12th December with prices from £12 to £40.
