More than two whole decades on from its original release, the Jordan Brand looks set to revisit the archives for a retail run of one of its most sought-after collaborations: the Eminem x Air Jordan 4 Encore.
Originally launched back in 2005, the friends-and-family drop was limited to just 50 pairs, making it nigh on impossible for mere mortals to even dream of getting their hands on them. An additional run of 23 pairs, coinciding with the release of Eminem’s ninth studio record ‘Revival’ in 2017, hardly helped matters, and unless you had a cool £50k lying around, ownership was never really on the cards.
Now, though, the elusive silhouette could finally be within reach after all. Rumoured for release to the public in May 2027, the upcoming design will largely stay true to the OG, the only expected tweak being the Varsity Red accents replaced with Game Purple detailing.
Official launch details and images are yet to be unveiled, but May 15th 2027 is being heavily rumoured. Mark your calendars, set a notification and stay tuned for further updates...
