Ye's sneaker aesthetic has changed drastically over the past five years. At the start of his adidas partnership he placed a huge focus on conventionally-designed silhouettes, while the past year or two has had him emphasising lines and curves to the point that his shoes look more like pieces of art rather than pieces of footwear. The same can definitely be said about the freshly-unveiled Yeezy NSLTD Boot "Triple Black".
Seen on the feet of Ye himself while he was sitting courtside at the Staples Center, and earlier that day at a Thanksgiving charity game in Atlanta, the all-black NSLTD Boot is as stealthy as it gets. Forgoing the classic lacing system seen on West's previous boot releases such as the 950, these are fastened via a velcro opening on the lateral side panel. The upper is done up in in a puffer material for added insulation, hence the name of the shoe, and this unique construction extends from the top all the way to the toebox.

Looking at the bottom part of the shoe, it's actually taken straight from the Foam Runner just with additional perforations throughout. We're not sure if Yeezy has used the same algae-infused EVA foam for the Boot, but according to people who have actually worn it they say that it's pretty comfortable.
We don't know if or when the adidas Yeezy Insulated Boot "Triple Black" will get a public release, though we'll definitely be the first to let you know as soon as we find out. Let us know what you think of this colourway compared to the "Khaki".
