Nike has officially unveiled a first-look prototype of the Air Max 1000 Multicolor, marking the brand’s first ever multicolor 3D-printed sneaker.
We thought the 3D footwear world couldn't get any crazier, but Zellerfeld and Nike have just announced their latest collaboration and we're seriously impressed. Having previously worked on a number of super-exclusive Nike Air Max 1000 colourways, the latest announcement from the brand takes the collaboration to yet another level.
The Sole Supplier have been lucky enough to wear-test a pair of the Nike x Zellerfeld Air Max 1000s, and the level of detail and structural design immediately stood out, leaving us really impressed by the technology behind a fully 3D-printed build.
Building on Nike’s legacy of Air innovation, the multicolour Air Max 1000 represents a defining new chapter, powered by Zellerfeld’s industry-leading 3D-printing technology and manufacturing expertise. It offers a real look into a future where printed footwear design could even become the norm.
The Nike Air Max 1000 first debuted in 2024 before receiving its initial release in early 2025, followed by the Air Max 9500 later that year in November - As previewed by The Sole Supplier at ComplexCon LA. Now, with the introduction of the Multicolor edition, the story evolves once again, pushing Nike’s 3D-printed Air narrative even further.
If you fancy getting your hands on a pair of the Nike Air Max 1000 in collaboration with Zellerfeld, keep it locked to The Sole Supplier App, as we bring you more info when they release later this year.
