END. reunites with adidas Originals to unveil the “Tying The Knot” collection, nodding to the sacred concept of marriage. The collaboration coincides with the British retailer’s 20th anniversary, kicking off a string of possible projects throughout the year to honour the milestone. Dropping alongside the Superstar, the END. x adidas “Tying The Knot” Japan OG mimics a bridal dress to align with the wedding-inspired theme.
This women’s vintage trainer flaunts a white lace upper with soft suede overlays on the T-toe, eyestay, and lower rear. Serrated 3-Stripes cover the sidewalls, complementing the adidas “Japan” label and co-branded logos. The embossed text on the inner tongue reads “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue” as a nod to the wedding tradition derived from an Old English rhyme, embracing the silhouette’s marital concept. Cursive details and ribbon laces replicate elegant invitations to elevate the design, while the blue sockliners usher in a pop of colour. A slim rubber sole sits underfoot to cap off the trainer’s low-profile aesthetic. The limited-edition shoe arrives in an exclusive blue shoe box to match the “something blue” phrase.
Set to release on the 7th of March via END., you can find out where to buy the END. x adidas “Tying The Knot” Japan OG by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
