Noah x adidas SL72 Black White

The Noah x adidas SL72 Black White is the latest eco-friendly release from the Noah x adidas Originals Collection. The German footwear giant teamed up with Noah founder Brandon Babenzien to create a sustainably produced sneaker predominantly constructed from recycled ocean plastics. In an effort to reduce their environmental impact, Noah NYC and adidas crafted the SL72 Black White from Prime Blue, a high-performance recycled knit material developed by the footwear brand in partnership with Parley Ocean Plastics.

Noah founder Brandon Babenzien drew inspiration for the SL72 sneaker from his memories of growing up by the ocean and his passion for running. Noah’s laid-back surfer influence combined with adidas’ archival aesthetics, sees a reworking of the Noah x adidas SL72 Core Black with the recycled Prime Blue making up the black uppers and a premium suede detailing on the forefront offset by the white Three Stripes branding. Rounding off the Noah x adidas SL72 Black White, is the shell-graphic Noah NYC logo on the white tongues, a pristine white collar and a pop of ocean blue lining the rubber outsole.
