adidas Garwen SPZL Light Brown

Celebrating 10 years of the adidas Spezial label, renowned designer and archivist Gary Aspden unveils the limited-edition DECADE Pack. The capsule features four silhouettes from past SPZL collections, showcasing revamped designs to set them apart as anniversary edition styles. Inspired by the Brisbane model, the adidas Garwen SPZL “Light Brown” updates the sleek leisure shoe with premium details and a vintage aesthetic, a nod to the brand’s penchant for bringing archival trainers back to life.

This Garwen SPZL flaunts a light brown leather upper with smooth suede overlays on the toe and heel. Perforations have been added on the toe box for breathability, deviating from previous versions. A debossed “adidas” label and metallic Trefoil emblem grace the lateral quarter panel, complementing the metallic lace holes for a casual workwear look. The leather patch branding adorns the tongue, matching the co-branded labels on the leather sockliners. Below, the dark gum rubber sole contrasts the muted upper to form an understated colour blocking. The shoe includes a special-edition box and leather hang tags to commemorate the 10th anniversary.
