adidas State Series Oregon

adidas’ terrace-style shoe “State Series” has a new addition for Oregon. After a “Halo and Blush” release honouring the state of Massachusetts, this time a beaver takes centre stage. Oregon is known as “The Beaver State” due to the prevalence of beavers in the area. Almost hunted to extinction, the state government intervened and now the state animal has a healthy presence in the scenic landscapes and lush forests of Oregon. Meet the adidas State Series Oregon.

This State Series Oregon shoe has a dark maroon hairy suede upper, a nod to Oregon’s state animal. The serrated-edged 3-Stripes on both flanks are black, matching the Trefoil-branded heel tabs at the rear. The tongue labels show off an illustration of a beaver together with adidas and Trefoil branding. A toffee-coloured gum rubber sole unit caps off this release.
