adidas Superstar XLG Grey Black

The adidas Superstar didn’t just conquer basketball courts in the 1970s, it also made waves in the pop culture scene. Hip hop group Run DMC released their hit song “My adidas” in 1986 and instantly brought the brand to cult status. Meet one of the latest iterations of the silhouette, the bigger and bolder adidas Superstar XLG “Grey Black”.

This Superstar XLG has a smooth leather upper in grey with a matching rubber shell toe. The laces, tongues, and heel tabs as well as the jagged-edged 3-Stripes on both sides of the shoe are also in the same tonal hue. adidas branding is debossed onto the tongues, giving the sneaker a sophisticated touch. Black adidas branding, on the other hand, adorns the grey insoles. An all-grey rubber sole unit with a chevron-patterned outsole finishes off the whole ensemble.
