adidas Superstar XLG Shadow Olive

In the 1970s, 75% of basketball players were wearing the adidas Superstar. Why? It was the first time that basketball shoes were made of leather instead of canvas. This Superstar XLG has a smooth leather upper in brown-olive from heel to toe. The iconic rubber shell toe, the laces, the leather sock liner and the tongues also follow suit. The serrated-edged 3-Stripes on both the medial and lateral quarter panels are camouflaged in the same tonal hue. adidas branding is debossed on the tongues. An all-brown-olive rubber sole unit with a herringbone-patterned tread rounds out the style of this shoe.
