adidas Originals is bringing back its famed “City Series”. One of the most coveted pairs is the adidas Triest Cream White, a tribute to the famed Italian city. This Triest shoe has a smooth cream base with a light grey toe cap. The Three Stripes across both the medial and lateral mid-panels are tan brown, matching the heel tab with classic white adidas Trefoil branding. The original Triest from 1978 had a metallic Triest name on the lateral side.
On this shoe, however, the Triest title is in vibrant green, as if the metal from the original simply oxidised. The white leather tongue has a woven look and bears a black tongue tab with white adidas branding. Eco warriors will be happy to note that 25% of the upper is made from at least 50% recycled material. A caramel-coloured gum rubber sole unit finishes off the look of this shoe.
