Foot Locker is celebrating its forty fifth birthday this month, and they’re doing so with the release of the extremely special adidas Ultra Boost OG 45 Black White! While it is very obviously based off the SPEEDFACTORY AM4 silhouette that made waves back in 2017, the American sportswear and footwear retailer call this an Ultra Boost through and through, so UB it is!
Featuring an extremely versatile Primeknit upper, it’s decorated with black and white striping that’s inspired by the uniforms that the staff wear in stores around the globe. Dark grey elements hit the Three Stripe branding and additional taping along the toe box not only give this shoe a streamlined look, it also added extra structure to the upper.
Towards the back, you’ll find the signature UB heel counter that’s been around since 2015, and this is printed with the years “1974” and “2019” on the lateral and medial sides respectively, representing the year that FL officially opened up shop. Down below, a full length Boost midsole is present, providing comfort that’s still unrivalled even to this day.
