Queens-based cult streetwear brand, Awake NY, collaborates with ASICS to rework the Shigeyuki Mitsui-designed ASICS Gel-Lyte 3. Meet the Awake NY x ASICS Gel-Lyte 3 OG Black Pink.

This Gel-Lyte 3’s upper features an attractive contrast between the black mesh fabric base and the standout fuchsia pink suede overlays. Touches of silver pepper the shoe on the eyelets, the collar and the heel. Transparent and perforated ASICS Tiger Stripes dress up the mid-panels. Co-branding in fuchsia pink can be found on the insole. Each shoe carries one embossed logo of the two brands on the lateral heel. A white midsole with GEL technology and a black-and-pink rubber outsole finish off the look of these kicks.
