Awake NY x ASICS Gel-Lyte 3 OG Blue Yellow

The Angelo Baque-founded streetwear brand, Awake NY, has partnered up with ASICS to dress up the decades-old Gel-Lyte 3. Take a closer look at the Awake NY x ASICS Gel-Lyte 3 OG Blue Yellow.

The mesh fabric base of this Gel-Lyte 3 is in a baby blue hue while the synthetic suede overlays are in contrasting mustard yellow. The mid-panels show off a navy-coloured mesh with ASICS’ transparent signature TPU Tiger Stripes. Contrasting white laces wrap around the innovative split-tongue design of the shoe. Debossed Awake text branding in flowing script and a metallic finish adorns the lateral heel of the right shoe while Gel-Lyte branding can be found on the opposite side. A white midsole enhanced with GEL technology at the heel and a black-and-yellow rubber outsole complete the style of this shoe.
