ASICS Gel-Lyte 5 Godai Arctic Blue Sky

ASICS’ fifth version in its Gel-Lyte line, the Gel-Lyte 5, has a new “Godai” capsule that references the five elements, fire, water, earth, the void and wind. This Gel-Lyte 5 has a distinctive white midsole. Not only does it feature GEL technology at the rear, it is is also made from at least 20% recycled material. The perforated leather base of the shoe is white whilst the suede overlays on the toe and side walls are a light sky blue. The suede overlays on the collar and heel sections, on the other hand, are a darker periwinkle blue. The Tiger stripes on both the medial and lateral mid-panels are light blue outlined with periwinkle. A special coin deubré embossed with the wind element and a white and light blue rubber outsole cap off this release.
