We’ve seen plenty of denim inspired releases for 2016, but none quite as impressive as the ASICS Gel Lyte V Bred Japanese Denim. Instead of opting for the conventional shade of blue, this pair features a sleek, black colourway across the entire upper. Coupled with the impressive performance features, this is expected to be a hugely popular release.
ASICS have a proud heritage of showcasing Japanese design. Only several months ago, the brand launched a jean inspired collection with two eye-catching creations. Now they’re back again, this time overhauling the Gel Lyte V. As you’ll see from the name, this is actually a BRED rendition. While it may not dominate, red does contrast against the black on the outsole, and there is subtle detailing to the sidewall.
Elsewhere and all the focus is on that premium denim material which covers almost everything in sight. A neoprene inner lining is the exception which boasts that snug comfort and lock down fit.
