The Offspring x ASICS Gel-Lyte V Cobble Part II is the latest collaboration to release as part of the Offspring 20th anniversary. The first half of this collection launched several months ago and was a huge success. Paying homage to the cobbled streets of Covent Garden, it’s a subtle nod to the location of Offspring’s first flagship store. Situated in Central London, the retailer soon gained a fan following and more stores were opened across the UK.
This Gel Lyte V harnesses a muted colour combination to represent the cobbled affect. Soft grey suede hits the upper with complimenting overlays of off-white and grey. While it remains understated throughout, ASICS have imparted their creativity with a vibrant splash of Turquoise. This features on the inner lining and comes stamped to the cross stripe branding on the sidewall.
To finish, a white Gel Lyte sole sits underfoot and the Japanese symbol ‘=+’ makes an appearance to the rear. It comes to represent the anniversary, as well as the Japanese heritage behind the ASICS brand.
The Offspring x ASICS Gel-Lyte V Cobble Part II is scheduled to release on Friday 15th July via the retailers on the right hand side.
