South Korean designer Vandy The Pink secures his first-ever project with Japanese sportswear powerhouse ASICS with the “Banana Split” collection. First revealed during atmoscon 2025, this three-way collaboration reimagines the late 2000s GEL-Nimbus 10.1 with tasteful details reminiscent of your favourite dessert. Reminiscent of Neapolitan ice cream, the Vandy The Pink x atmos x ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 “Strawberry” offers a cutesy design to elevate the silhouette’s retro-futuristic aesthetic.
Sadly these are a Japan exclusive but that doesn't mean you can't find yourself a super cute pair of pink ASICS. Our favourite alternatives would have to be this GEL-NYC and GT-2160 but let us know if they're cute enough for you!
This streamlined trainer flaunts a strawberry pink hue on the Tiger Stripes and open mesh underlays to form a summer-ready style. Metallic silver accents envelop the textured synthetic overlays from front to back, while a chocolate brown shade and cherry red GEL label animate the rear panel. The two-tone laces and fuzzy lacing option add flavour to the sumptuous makeover. VTP flower logos adorn the lateral quarter, complementing the co-branding on the insole. The midsole carries visible GEL inserts in the forefoot and heel for responsive cushioning. A TRUSSTIC shank plate sits between the segmented outsole to provide stability and arch support. This pair arrives in a special-edition “Banana Split” shoe box for the finishing touches.
Set to release via the Vandy The Pink website, atmos locations, and select UK retailers, you can find out where to buy the Vandy The Pink x atmos x ASICS GEL-Nimbus 10.1 “Strawberry” by keeping it locked to The Sole Supplier!
