Subversive Dutch designer, Daniëlle Cathari, teams up with Clarks to update the latter’s Wallabee, a moccasin-style shoe. First introduced in 1967, this shoe has become a design classic. Meet the Daniëlle Cathari x Clarks Originals Wallabee “Red”.
This Wallabee starts out with a premium Charles F. Stead upper in vibrant red suede. The entire upper pieces together both smooth and rough panels, giving the shoe a deconstructed look. Co-branding appears on the insoles in gold foil and debossed on the suede fobs attached to the laces. The shoe also features natural rubber Bianco pebble crepe soles. Red flat waxed laces are the finishing touches on this shoe.
