Converse revisits its debut collection with Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary creative imprint pgLang in the year-end Converse Launch Lineup. Formed in 2020 by rapper Kendrick Lamar and filmmaker Dave Free, pgLang (Program Language) has been shrouded by curiosity thanks in large part to its brief public appearances. The pgLang Converse Chuck 70 “White” delivers a minimalist aesthetic to the time-tested sneaker, blending the silhouette’s unrivalled legacy and pgLang’s penchant for subtle creativity.

This collaborative Chuck 70 arrived in a pristine white canvas upper with red foxing and cream white accents encompassing the stitching and co-branded “PgLang for Chuck Taylor” ankle patch. Metallic eyelets pay homage to hiking boots, while the custom moulded toe cap adds durability to high-wear zones. Subtle co-branded logos adorn the sockliners, while the heel license plate presents a text graphic on the left shoe. PgLang hangtags incorporate canvas fabrics to honour the timeless Converse Chuck Taylor All Star design. The blue rubber outsole embellished with the letter “a” on the forefoot completes the clean ensemble of this collaborative colourway.
