Danish contemporary luxury fashion brand GANNI reunites with Boston-based sportswear giant New Balance for a luxe two-pack collaboration featuring the retro running icon, the New Balance 1906R. The two brands first forged their alliance in 2022 with a sustainable update on the Ganni NB 2002R. This GANNI x New Balance 1906R “White Yellow” gets decked out in a sail white construction with bright yellow tones to pay homage to the versatility of retro running shoes for athletic performance and everyday casual wear.
Formed in 2000 by gallerist Frans Truelsen, GANNI’s fashion concepts revolve around bold, expressive fashion statements that catch the attention of crowds. GANNI became a cult fashion trend, incorporating several overhauls with its design to keep up with the dynamic trends in fashion. This second collaboration with New Balance further elevates the Copenhagen-based brand to a bigger audience. This GANNI collaboration showcases a clean sail white base with black accents on the textile overlays, laces, and inner lining. Yellow tones stand out on the N branding and midfoot lace loops, complementing the "Ganni x NB "Yellow"" counterpart in this two-pack collab. Co-branded labels appear on the tongue, heel pull tabs, and sockliners for a co-branded finish.
